Discover the latest improvements in SalesOrders 🛒
We’ve introduced several improvements to make your sales processes clearer, more flexible and easier to manage across web and mobile.
Here’s what’s new:
📊 Clearer Sales Order totals
Sales Order details now include a clearer and more consistent summary of the main financial amounts, including the document subtotal, discounts, tax base and final amount.
This makes it easier to review the complete value of an order at a glance. See more details.
🧾 Improved tax management
You can now manage and review tax information more easily across companies, products and Sales Orders.
Define tax profiles, configure the default tax type for products and check the taxes applied to each order line and the total tax amount directly from the document summary. See more details.
🚚 Better visibility of transport costs
Transport or shipping costs can now be identified separately in the sales document summary.
The transport amount remains part of the document total, while the dedicated field provides a clearer breakdown of the final amount. See more details.
📦 Flexible Units of Measure
Products can now be managed and sold using different units of measure, such as units, boxes, packs, metres or litres.
When selecting a unit in a Sales Order, Sage Sales Management automatically applies the corresponding quantity, conversion and pricing rules, helping reduce manual calculations and prevent quantity errors. See more details.
💰 Discounts by percentage or fixed amount
Discounts can now be entered as either a percentage or a fixed amount.
For example, you can enter a negotiated discount of €100 instead of calculating the equivalent percentage. Both values remain automatically synchronized to ensure consistent order calculations. See more details.
⚙️ How to activate these features
The new Sales Order footer is available automatically and does not require any additional configuration.
All other features must be enabled by an administrator through the corresponding Sage Sales Management parameter.
