Report emails with Outlook: easier than ever

We are excited to announce a new improvement to the recently released ForceManager's Outlook Add-in: the ability to report emails in ForceManager without having email synchronization activated.

This new feature enables users to report emails in just one click without leaving their inbox. The Add-in will detect the related records in ForceManager, such as the Account or Contacts, and will create the email as a new Activity.

This makes it especially useful for those who don't have email synchronization active, as reporting emails via the ForceManager Outlook Add-in is much faster and efficient.

With this improvement, users can now have emails reported in real-time and have all the necessary information at hand. This will help users save time, stay organized, and ensure that all emails are reported accurately and properly.

Our App's improvements for iOS 15

As Apple's Technological Official Partners, at ForceManager we are committed to Apple's yearly improvements that come along with each new version of iOS and iPad OS.

In line with our philosophy, which consists in simplifying how sales representatives report information and how fast they can access it, we have developed 3 major improvements for iOS 15:

1. Live text, which you can use to identify text fragments with your iPhone's or iPad's camera and enter the text on any ForceManager field. You can now copy and paste hand-written notes and contact details from a contact card.

2. XL-Widgets, so you can visualize all the relevant information at any moment without having to get inside the app, such as your goals or your calendar. Plus, when the time of a meeting is arriving, you'll be able to use the same Widget to check-in, see the route or access a Zoom or Teams call.

3. Performance, for which we have reduced ForceManager's app battery consumption by 30%. Now more than ever, ForceManager keeps up with you, so you never have to stop.

All your data finally clean!

The brand new Validation Rules are already available, and they're going to be your best allies to maintain a clean and homogeneous data base.

These Validation Rules verify that the data introduced in a specific field are compliant with a series of prerequisites. Some examples of Validation Rules are texts that cannot contain spaces or capital letters, a number that must belong within a specific range, or even a credit card number, which must be valid and real.

This is why Validation Rules are especially useful for fields such as Email, Web,  Credit Card or even Passport Number, among many others.

All Validation Rules can be configured and applied to the corresponding fields in ForceManager Admin. Once activated, a user won't be able to save information that doesn't satisfy the criteria stated by the admin, and a warning message will be shown.

Are you an Admin and you want to know how you can start using Validation Rules?

Save time updating numerous entities simultaneously

You can now update multiple entities in ForceManager simultaneously.

This feature can be found in the Import and Export menu in ForceManager Admin. You can use it to update as many fields as you need from your Accounts, Contacts and/or Opportunities simultaneously. Here's how it works:

You will find this feature especially useful when you need to modify one or more fields from numerous entities. This will also come in handy if you decide to add a new field to your Accounts, Contacts or Opportunities.

This new feature allows you to download an Excel with all the entities you need to modify, update the corresponding information in that same Excel file, and upload the file. The new information will be automatically updated in ForceManager.

Single Sign-On (SSO) available with Microsoft Azure

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that enables users to authenticate with multiple apps by entering different systems and resources with a single set of credentials.

This method simplifies the users' daily work by authenticating only once and keeps different app sessions activated. To see how it works, watch the following video:

From now on, you can access ForceManager with the same user and password you are already using for the rest of your Microsoft apps, thanks to a very smooth process and without the need to remember your credentials each time you want to access the platform.

Account Quick Filters radical improvement

We have radically improved our accounts filtering experience offering better customization options. You can completely adapt them to your needs, making sure that the most valuable information is always at your fingertips.

Until now, the experience using Quick Filters was fast and intuitive, but not all fields were available. From now on you can:

  • Add any filter you need: you will be able to completely customize which filters appear on the section, no matter the amount of them (no limits) or if they are standard or custom fields.
  • Order them the way you want: by reordering the filters on the Quick Filters section you decide how you want them to appear on the screen.
  • Use the same filters the next time you log in: you will be able to find active the filter status you set the last time you were connected, so when you log in again you don't have to redo your previous filtering.
